The guidebook offers insights into the business environment of the Ghanaian e-waste sector, highlighting the e-waste value Chain. It gives details on the business formalization requirements under the current legislation (LI 1652 and 2250), including the benefits that these rules offer to stakeholders. Additionally, to provide hands- on assistance in the formalization process, information on permits acquisition from the regulatory authorities like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Municipal Metropolitan and District Assemblies (MMDAs) and Registrar Generals Department (RGD) were compiled in a lucid manner.
The main work for the guide was done by the UCC and the whole EMAGIN team wishes to thank the European Union for funding this project.
